ReciPick Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") aim to define the conditions and procedures for using the ReciPick mobile application service (the "Service") provided by ReciPick (the "Company"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and the users, and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Service" refers to the mobile application service provided by the Company, which includes features such as recipe extraction, saving, management, and recommendations.
2. "User" refers to any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
3. "Member" refers to a user who has signed up for the Service via social login.
4. "Non-member" refers to a user who uses the Service without signing up for membership.
5. "Recipe Extraction" refers to a feature where a user shares a website URL to automatically organize and summarize recipe information.
6. "Pro Subscription" refers to a paid service that allows access to additional features upon payment of a monthly fee.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)

1. These Terms become effective upon being posted on the Service screen or notified to the user through other means.
2. The Company may modify these Terms to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws if reasonable grounds arise, and the modified Terms will be announced via notices within the app.
3. If a user does not agree to the modified Terms, they may discontinue the use of the Service and withdraw their membership.

Article 4 (Service Content)

The services provided by the Company are as follows:

Article 5 (Membership Registration and Withdrawal)

1. Users may sign up for membership via social login using Google, Apple, or Kakao accounts.
2. Members may request withdrawal at any time via the "My Page" section within the app, and the Company will process the withdrawal immediately.
3. Upon withdrawal, all data, including saved recipes, will be deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

Article 6 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in the following acts:

1. Signing up for the Service by misappropriating another person's personal information.
2. Using information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes or providing it to third parties without the Company's prior consent.
3. Interfering with the Company's service operations (e.g., abnormal mass requests, crawling, etc.).
4. Infringing upon the intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, of others.
5. Other acts that violate applicable laws and regulations.

Article 7 (Recipe Extraction and Copyright)

1. Users must use extracted recipes solely for personal cooking reference.
2. Unauthorized redistribution, publication, or commercial use of extracted recipes may infringe upon the rights of the original author, and the user bears full responsibility for such actions.
3. The Company may restrict the extraction of specific recipes upon the request of the original author.

Article 8 (Paid Services and Payment)

1. Pro Subscription is a monthly auto-renewal payment method, and payments are processed via in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Subscription cancellation can be performed directly through the subscription management menu of each respective store. Upon cancellation, the user may continue to use Pro features until the current billing period expires.
3. Matters regarding refunds and withdrawal of subscription shall be governed by Article 8-2.

Article 8-2 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)

1. In accordance with the "Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc.," a user may withdraw their subscription within 7 days from the date of payment for a paid service (Pro Subscription, etc.) or the date the service becomes available, whichever is later.
2. However, pursuant to Article 17, Paragraph 2 of the same Act, if the provision of digital content (Pro features, etc.) has commenced after payment, the withdrawal of subscription may be restricted. Even in such cases, withdrawal is possible if one of the following applies:
   • The Pro features have not been used at all after payment.
   • The Company failed to clearly notify the user of the restrictions on withdrawal in advance.
3. Requests for withdrawal of subscription and refunds can be made via the following methods:
   • In-App: My Page → Customer Center (Inquiry) or Subscription Management
   • Email: kjykdi0409@gmail.com (Please include your registered email address and payment details)
   • Store: Request a refund directly from your purchase history in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
4. The Company will process refunds according to the payment method within 3 business days from the date the intent to withdraw the subscription is confirmed. In the case of in-app purchases, refunds may be processed according to the settlement procedures of Apple or Google.
5. If a portion of the subscription period has already been used, the amount corresponding to that period may be deducted.

Article 9 (Modification and Suspension of Service)

1. The Company may modify the content of the Service or add/delete features, and will provide prior notice in the event of significant changes.
2. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in the following cases:
   • System maintenance, replacement, or failure.
   • Force majeure events such as natural disasters or national emergencies.
3. The Company shall not be held liable for any issues arising from service suspension, unless caused by the Company's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of recipes extracted by users through the Service. Users must personally verify factors such as allergies and the condition of ingredients when cooking.
2. The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising between users or between a user and a third party mediated by the Service, and is not liable for any damages resulting therefrom.
3. The Company shall not be held liable for the use of free services, unless otherwise provided by relevant laws.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

1. Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other relevant laws.
2. In the event of a lawsuit regarding a dispute arising from the use of the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's headquarters shall be the competent court.
